Having woken up to find such a beautiful day, I couldn't help jumping on my car to rush to Izunokuni Panorama Park, where you can go up to the summit of Mt. Katsuragi (452m above sea level) by ropeway gondola. Just in time before the clouds hide Mt. Fuji (in summer, Mt. Fuji is visible only in the early morning no matter how fine it is), I got to the top of the mountain to enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the north Izu area, Amagi Mountain Range in the south, Hakone in the east, Mt. Fuji in the north, and Suruga Bay in the west. After having breakfast at the Fujimi Terrace cafe on the summit, I caught the gondola back down to the earth to hurry home. Another work day began.
